Because workmen were laying glassfiber-internet cables in my street, I started to notice all kinds of spray-painted signs and symbols. Although I do not know what they mean exactly, I know these signs and symbols form a kind of secret, left behind, language of their own. Almost like hieroglyphs or alien inscriptions, waiting to be unraveled. I decided to photograph these traces of spray-paint signs and symbols with my mobile phone during walks. Later, these photographs were compiled into a small booklet.
